Each phase of the day reveals surprises and authentic encounters, making every journey through these mountains unforgettable. Morning: Wake-Up and Breakfast
6:30 – The day begins as the assistant chef delivers a comforting cup of tea to coax trekkers out of their tents. A small bowl of hot water is provided for the morning wash—an essential ritual in the crisp Himalayan air.
7:30 – After packing bags, breakfast awaits. The menu varies daily, featuring omelets, toast, jam, butter, peanut butter, cocktail sausages, cereals, porridge, tea, fruit juice, or pancakes to energize the team for the journey ahead.
On the Trail
8:00 – The group departs the camp in the company of mules, surrounded by majestic mountain vistas. After a few hours of walking, the support team, having started earlier, is far ahead setting up the next stop. A refreshing juice break offers welcome relief from the trek.
Lunchtime in the Wilderness
12:30 – Lunch arrives in lunchboxes with hearty meals: rice with vegetables, meat options (chicken, pork, beef, or fish), an additional vegetable dish in gravy, fresh fruit, tea, and juice.
Afternoon: Continuing the Adventure
After lunch, the trek resumes, with arrival at the next campsite expected between 2:00 and 4:30 pm—timed to avoid setting up in darkness. The journey is punctuated by encounters with nomads, yaks, and views of unspoiled nature.
16:30 – Teatime marks a pause for tea and biscuits while reliving the highlights of the day. Adventurous trekkers may sample spiced popcorn. Another bowl of hot water is available for refreshing after many kilometers on foot.
Evening Under the Stars
18:30 – Dinner is served in a convivial atmosphere around a small table beneath the tents. The menu echoes lunch, with the addition of tasty soup to begin and fruit for dessert. As day turns to night, the warmth of a hot-water bottle signals well-earned rest.
